'A born astronaut': France's Sophie Adenot makes history with flight to space

France's Sophie Adenot became only the second French woman to fly to space on Friday as her crew of four rocketed towards the International Space Station for an eight-month mission on board the orbiting laboratory, where a medical evacuation earlier this year left a skeleton crew of just three astronauts.
