Benn, formerly with Matchroom Boxing, also celebrated the signing, thanking Matchroom and Eddie Hearn for everything theyâve done over his time with the promoter.

First and foremost, I want to thank Eddie and the entire team at Matchroom for everything theyâve done for me over the past decade.
From guiding me when I first turned pro, to headlining stadium shows. They were not only with me for those highlight moments but stood shoulder to shoulder with me during the tough times.
Itâs been a journey beyond anything we could have imagined, and for their belief, support, and guidance, I will always be truly grateful, but Zuffa Boxing presented me with an opportunity I simply couldnât refuse. Iâd love Eddie to continue to be part of my team and for our partnership to evolve in this new chapter.
Iâm filled with excitement and hunger for whatâs ahead with Zuffa Boxing. I want the legacy fights, the biggest nights, the biggest stages. I fear no man at any weight, and Iâm ready to give the fans the fights theyâve been calling for. Iâm in my prime, and together we have bold, ambitious plans.
Though MMA Fighting has yet to confirm details, reports quickly surfaced that Bennâs signing is a one-fight, eight-figure deal. This signing also comes on the heels of the recent rift between Dana White and Eddie Hearn, where, earlier this week, both promoters took shots at each other in the media.
Benn was one of the cornerstone fighters for Matchroom. Still only 29 years old, with a professional record of 24-1 (14 KOs), Benn is coming off a pair of high-profile fights with Chris Eubank Jr. last year. Benn lost their first encounter in April, but won the rematch in November by decision.
