Israeli strike in eastern Lebanon kills four, targets Islamic Jihad

Lebanon said an Israeli strike near the Syrian border on Sunday killed four people, while Israel said it targeted operatives from the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad. Despite a November 2024 truce intended to end over a year of Israel-Hezbollah hostilities, Israel has continued carrying out regular strikes in Lebanon.
