Sean Strickland had quite a message for the UFC Houston crowd Friday night.
The former UFC champion, who ripped the mic from analyst Jon Anik, claims he fights “more like a Mexican” than his opponent, Anthony Hernandez, at UFC Houston ceremonial weigh-ins Friday evening.
“Listen here, you motherf*ckers. I know you guys, you might want your local Mexican to win. There’s nothing wrong with that. Let me tell you to the Lone Star State, there’s only one motherf*cker who stands and bangs – your f*cking guy wrestles. I fight more like a Mexican than that motherf*cker. F*ck you.”

Hernandez responded to Strickland’s comments during the UFC Houston ceremonial weigh-in show.
“Honestly, I don’t give a f*ck where the fight goes. I can stand with him. I can grapple with him. I can do whatever. I want to torture this motherf*cker and make him really tired and hate his life, so the best way I can do that is doing everything I do and mix it up,” Hernandez said.
The outspoken Strickland has made several waves during the lead-up to the UFC Houston main event and fight week. Hernandez reacted to the racist image shared on social media by Strickland earlier this week.
